Are you willing to act the clown? Be foolish? Are you unafraid of being daft in front of a crowd? Then the Clowning & Street Theatre Course provided by Impact Preston is for you!In the lead up to Impact:Preston there will be 2 training days for those who want to learn clowning/street theatre related skills, with the opportunity to use these skills during the week of Impact:Preston (August 7-12)
In the lead up to Impact:Preston there will be 2 training days for those who want to learn clowning / street theatre related skills.
There will be opportunity to use these skills at the Impact:Preston Fun Day, Kids Klub Road Show as well as on the Flag Market.
The trainer will be Andy Gray who is a youth worker for Scripture Union and has experience of clowning, street theatre & evangelsim.
The course is for people age 16 and over and will cover:
-
Juggling
-
Clown costumes & make up
-
Baloon sculpting
-
Magic tricks / illusion
-
Skits & gags
-
Mime
-
Human statues
and more.
The course is quite physical so you will need to be fit and energetic (and young at heart!).
The course is free and will run from 10am - 3.30pm.
You can pick from one of the following two dates:
Sat June 3rd or Sat July 1st
The training will be at: Leyland Baptist Church, Leyland Lane, Leyland.
You will need to bring a packed lunch.
The course is limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
The closing date for bookings is the 26th May.
