On September 23^rd PV celebrates its 8^th birthday. And I think it’s a pretty good thing to celebrate. These eight have been fairly eventful years…

...In its eight years of running, PV has had two pastors and now is run by a leadership team. It has met in homes, hotels, schools and a church building belonging to another denomination! Not to mention the variety in style, size and shape.

This shows that PV is a church where everyone gets to play. Anyone who is involved impacts its direction and flavour. This is a thing to be excited by! Preston Vineyard’s past proves that there is room to change and trying something new is encouraged. And who would have thought that church and change could be used in the same sentence?

So let’s take up visiting speaker Tim Feake’s advice and let’s see this next year as a fresh start. Let’s listen to God and do our best to follow what He says. Even if at first it seems a little different.
