Articles: Preston Vineyard has a New Venue!

Saturday, April 21, 2007 - 09:00 PM, (994 Reads)

Church Life

A wonderful answer to prayer, we have found a new home for Preston Vineyard!

We will be meeting from May 2007 at The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN)

The University is right at the heart of the city of Preston and we believe this is where God wants us to be as a church. We believe that God has opened this door for us as a church and provided us with a fantastic venue.

To find out more read on.......

We are so excited about this, we have been hunting for a new venue for quite a few months now and each time we have visited somewhere, there has been a reason which has meant that it wasn't quite right.

We contacted the University about a month ago and due to annual leave etc we only managed to visit on Friday 20th April.

Long story short: we will from May 2007 be meeting twice a month on a Sunday morning from 11.00am - 1.15pm in the Foster Building, which is on the Uni roundabout in town.

We have the following facilities:

A laminated floored room which seats about 150 people

Space to have a drinks and cafe style church area

Space for a prayer ministry area

Space for a creche (and or a separate break out area in the refrectory next door which will have the service piped thru audio so parents dont miss the service)

A seperate area in the refrectory next door for kids work

The referectory can also be used for break out groups for the adults if we doing group work etc

We will provide our own drinks and donuts etc but there will be chairs and tables laid out for us

There will still be some set up for the drinks, kids and sound but no chairs and tables etc, so set

up will not be huge but there is no storage so there will still be some need to bring and take away things.

For those of you who remember Novo tel the room is similar to that but bigger and wood floor, nice and bright.
