Home Groups
Monday:
7:30pm at the Bambers. (Just to clarify this home group meets fortnightly but has just changed fortnights...)
Wednesday:
2 - 4pm at Brew (coffee shop in town)
Thursday:
7:30pm at the Pickups (Longridge)
Home groups are a priority in PV and so if you're not yet attending one, we strongly encourage you to make it a priority!
Coming Up Soon:
December 6th - English conversation and a Brew, an experimental outreach for migrant workers. Please come and support this.
December 9th - Teaching Service
December 12th - Fishergate Baptist Church Users Christmas Celebration. Hosted by us. Please contact Shirah if you wish to be involved.
December 16th - Carol Service at Bethany House has been cancelled due to lack of response.
December 23rd - PV Christmas Celebration Service. Please bring Christmas Cookies/Mince Pies to share
December 30th - No Service.
Other Notices:
As of January PV will be meeting only twice a month as a full church. This will either be the 1st and 3rd week or the 2nd and 4th. Stay tuned for more details.
The Leadership Team have met with Neil Jones, the minister at Fishergate Baptist Church, and have agreed that is time for PV to move on to a new home. The Leadership Team are currently on the lookout hoping to move early in the new year, possibly meeting on Sundays. Please let them know if you have any ideas.
Also, PV have rekindled their connection with Millbank Court (supported accommodation in Preston) We would like to collect non-perishable goods (books, toys, etc) and make hampers for christmas. Please bring these things in for December 9th.
Also, Shirah finishes working for PV on Tuesday, December 5th. Please contact the LT directly (unless otherwise specified as she will continue to volunteer like everyone else) with questions.
PV's 3rd Annual Weekend Away is taking place the first weekend in April, once again at Bassenfell Manor.
