Preston Vineyard is easy to find, it's right on Campus, it's a short walk around the back of the Foster Building  and across the car park from the Health Centre - you'll see the open doors and the signs.

We're a laid back Church that has seen many students over the years, some have stayed with us after graduating and now help in the running of the Church; others have gone on to other Towns, Cities, Countries and Continents. We find that Students like the relaxed atmosphere at Preston Vineyard as well as the friendly people here.

We meet on the lst and 3rd Sunday of each month at 11am -  and more than likely we'll find a pub or cafe to go to afterwards.

If you require any prayer or help before or when you get to Preston just give us a shout at leadership@prestonvineyard.org. We hope to welcome you to Preston Vineyard soon.

Feel free to use the forum and/or get in touch.

See you in September

Ex-Uclan Students - what they say about PV...

Jon Sidnell, now 23, graduated from UCLan in 2004, where he studied Web & Multimedia. He now leads Worship at a thriving Church in Hexham, near Newcastle.

"I first visited Preston Vineyard when I was looking around Preston before coming to University. The church was only a handful of people at that point, but it turned out that I met people who would be great friends and a huge support to me while I was at University that day!

After moving to Preston, I went to a few different churches to make sure that I didn't just join the first church I'd tried. Although I went to some good churches, none of them felt like home quite so much as Preston Vineyard. Within a month of being in Preston, I'd made PV my permanent "home church away from home."

I found PV to be a group of people that are prepared to take risks and let students have real responsibility in the church. I was part of a student-led cell group with some amazing people who now play a leading role in the church and soon found myself taking part in the worship team. Through that, I have found myself trained and equipped to lead worship, not to mention being challenged to grow further in my walk with God.

Having left university, and PV, the thing that stands out in my memory is the relationships formed at PV. The people are genuinely caring, with a huge heart to worship God and do what He wants them to do.

If you're looking for a church that experiences God's presence in prayer and worship, has quality teaching, with a passion to see God's Kingdom break outside the walls of church meetings you'd do much worse than give Preston Vineyard a try! I did, and it was a life-changing experiment I'm glad that I made!"
